“Cucumber, Green Lettuce, Peas”
Contents and sowing tips for the plant set:
Cucumber:
Organic seeds. These seeds grow into the finest mini cucumbers, perfect for snacking straight from the plant or including in a lunchbox.
Harvesting of cucumbers can start around 3 months after sowing the seeds.
Sowing Cucumber:
Moisten the soil before sowing and keep the soil moist while the seeds germinate.
Start pre-sprouting about 4-6 weeks before the plant is to be moved outdoors, into pots, or the garden. Growth can be supported by a grow light, which you simply place in your desk lamp. This accelerates the plant’s growth.
Use one seed per pot.
The seeds prefer warmth and like to germinate at 25 degrees Celsius. Consider placing your pots above a radiator covered with plastic or in a mini greenhouse. However, make sure the soil does not dry out.
Do not plant outside until after the last frost.
Preferably plant your cucumber in a warm place with shelter, and make sure to support the plant with a stick or something similar, so the plant’s long stems do not break.
When watering, avoid watering directly at the stem, as this could promote fungus and rot at the plant’s roots.
Green Lettuce:
This variety of lettuce can be grown all year round in gardens and pots, as it tolerates both cold and frost.
Harvest the lettuce continuously as individual leaves or the whole plant.
With this variety, you can harvest lettuce throughout the year. If you allow some of the plants to flower, you can collect seeds from them and plant lettuce again for the next season from your own seeds.
Sowing Green Lettuce:
Moisten the soil before sowing and keep the soil moist while the seeds germinate.
The sowing depth is 1 cm.
If you choose to sow the lettuce seeds directly into the ground, the optimal time is from July to September.
Peas:
This is a productive pea variety that yields many pods, which can be harvested continuously. Eat them straight from the plant or use them in salads or other cooking.
The pea plant grows long stems, which like to have something to climb on. Consider making your own pea trellis or tie sticks together to form a wall that the peas can climb on.
Sowing Peas:
Moisten the soil before sowing and keep the soil moist while the seeds germinate. The pea seeds can be soaked for 12 hours before sowing for better results
The sowing depth is 3 cm.
If you are planting directly into the garden soil, the soil temperature should be above 10 degrees Celsius for the seeds to germinate. Otherwise, sow the peas in larger pots with 1-2 plants in each pot.
