“Organic Hokkaido Pumpkin, Calendula, Organic Jack o´Lantern Pumpkin”

Contents and sowing tips for the plant set:

Hokkaido Pumpkin:
Organic seeds. A smaller pumpkin with a beautiful orange color and yellow flesh.
Suitable for oven fries, soups, or pickling.
The pumpkin is ready to harvest when it turns orange, as it starts off yellow.
You can also tell by the stem. When it withers, the pumpkin is ready to harvest.
The pumpkin seeds can be roasted as a snack in the oven, or dried and saved for planting your own pumpkins from seeds next season.

Sowing Hokkaido Pumpkin:
Moisten the soil before sowing and keep the soil moist while the seeds germinate.
Pre-sprouting is recommended to have a strong plant before it is moved outdoors.
Start pre-sprouting 4 weeks before planting outside, and do not plant until the last frost has passed and the soil temperature is above 15 degrees Celsius.
Sow at a depth of 3 cm.
Hokkaido can be grown in larger pots on a balcony, but be aware that the plant becomes very long and takes up a lot of space.

Calendula:
This flower is easy to grow and produces many beautiful orange flowers. It does well both in pots and flower beds, as well as in the middle of the vegetable garden. The flowers are edible and look beautiful in cakes, salads, bread, and herb butter.
Calendulas tend to reseed themselves. Otherwise, remember to harvest the flower seeds from the middle of the flower and let them dry for the next season.

Sowing Calendula:
Moisten the soil before sowing and keep the soil moist while the seeds germinate.
Sow at a depth of 1 cm.
The seeds can also be sown in the garden in the autumn, and then the Calendula will bloom early next season in the garden.

Organic Jack o´Lantern Pumpkin:
Grow your own Halloween pumpkins. These seeds produce beautiful orange pumpkins up to 8 kg.

Sowing Organic Jack o´Lantern Pumpkin:
Moisten the soil before sowing and keep the soil moist while the seeds germinate.
Sow at a depth of 1 cm.
Pre-sprouting your pumpkin plants gives them a good start and strengthens the plant for outdoor planting. You can start pre-sprouting as early as April. Cover your pots with plastic or place them in a mini greenhouse to retain moisture and warmth until germination. Plant one seed per pot. Pumpkin seeds like warmth and will germinate well at 25-28 degrees Celsius, but will also germinate at less warm temperatures. Place your plants in a bright spot at room temperature once they start to emerge.
Otherwise, wait to sow until after the last frost.
The soil temperature should be stable above 15 degrees Celsius before you sow in the ground or plant your pre-sprouted pumpkin plants outdoors.
Pumpkin plants really enjoy water and also appreciate organic fertilization, such as horse manure or chicken manure.
