“Lavender, Lathyrys, Purple Basil”
Contents and Planting Tips for Plant Kits:
Lavender:
Organic seeds, Fragrant purple flower that attracts butterflies and bees. The flower requires some patience as it blooms the year after it is sown. However, the plant’s leaves already have the characteristic scent of lavender flowers in the first year. Lavender flowers can be used in cooking, especially in cakes. Alternatively, put the lavender flowers in a small bag and use it as a sachet, or dry the flowers and place them in a bowl to spread the calming lavender scent.
Planting Lavender:
This small seed prefers cool temperatures during germination. Moisten the soil before sowing and sow the seeds at a depth of 0.2 cm, just lightly covered with soil. Place the pot in the refrigerator in a bag to prevent the soil from coming into contact with food. The seed sprouts after 3-6 weeks. Take the pot out when the seeds sprout and transplant one plant per pot. Now place the pot with one plant in a bright and cool location. Lavender plants can be planted outdoors in a pot or in the garden after the last frost disappears in May.
Lathyrus:
Climbing plant with beautiful red fragrant flowers. The plant grows long and therefore likes to climb on something or be tied up. The plant likes water and also organic fertilizer. However, start fertilizing at least 3 weeks after planting. Then it blooms abundantly. Moreover, it also blooms more abundantly the more you pick.
Planting Lathyrus:
Make sure to water the soil in the pot or garden before sowing your seed. Also, remember to keep the soil moist while the seed sprouts. You can start pre-sprouting your seeds 4-6 weeks before you plant them out. Max 2 seeds per pot. Place your pot at room temperature, but otherwise bright and cool when the seed has sprouted. When the plant is 10 cm tall, pinch the top off so that the sweet pea forms side shoots and buds for more flowers.
Purple Basil:
Organic seeds. This plant loves warmth. Sow your seeds in a pot in a warm place or indoors. The leaves turn a beautiful purple color, which works well in salads or in a purple pesto.
Planting Purple Basil:
Moisten the soil before sowing and sow the seeds at a depth of 0.2 cm, just lightly covered with soil. Pre-sprout at room temperature. 3-4 plants per pot. These seeds can be grown indoors all year round. However, they thrive best under a growth light in the dark cool months.
